Level Three: Number Harmonics SPIRITUAL LAW of THREE’S: Session Four The Sacred Three is Three in Three Understanding the Spiral Nature… Section One This is a variation on the previous lesson. Rather then re-do the graphics, please reference them. (Just hit "Back" on your browser, or click here: Session Three ) If we look at the Three Triads described, and follow the progression of Number through the changing patterns, we will see how we have an effect of three spinning discs. In this, we need to be able to visualise in 3D the effect created ... (PS: Anyone who is brilliant with Flash Macromedia, and who wants to help, please email) First we look at the progression of the First Triad:
In this example we can see the initial cycling of the progression as it moves through the First Triad. Try and see this in 3D, and imagine it as a spinning disk. It is a little hard to make a clear representation, but below I will try to give you some sort of idea. In essence, what we are dealing with is a conceptual energy. (In truth, this runs to Six Dimensions, but we will not enter in a discussion about this here.) Try Imagining the Page rotating in an anti clockwise fashion, and see if this diagram below makes sense to you.
The "Spinning EGG" Example: Can we can imagine how ALL the different "planes" or groups of Numbers (1.2.3) (4.5.6) (7.8.9) in effect "spin" as they progress through the different Central Number to the Magic Square. (Refer: Session Two ) Every Triad has a "spin" or Spiral Energy. This crosses over from the simple initial progressions of 1.2.3 / 4.5.6 / 7.8.9 and becomes an involved progressions of energies that takes in every possible combination of Three in the 1 to 9 Series of Numbers. This series of combination can ALL be represented Musically and Harmonically, and in this manner Pythagorus could DEMONSTRATE to new students the sound of the Numerical Aspects that might occur on a person's date of birth, or an important event scheduled for the future. A simple demonstration of a lack of harmony on some future date was one way of determining that this may not be an auspicious date for the planned event. We will get to all of this later, however. What we are trying to describe here is the simple principle that Numbers have FLOWS. They naturally connect and flow to specific points, and the most obvious of these is the simple, 1, 2, 3 pattern that is the basis of Mathematics. As we have stated, there are many MORE number flows, but for now it is sufficient to grasp the idea that in GROUPS of THREE, Numbers can work in ABSOLUTE HARMONY with each other. We can also sequence much larger groups of Number, of course. But the Three is the starting point of it all... Thus the Importance of the Spiritual Law of Three's Exercise: Take any THREE NUMBERS. EG: 2, 5 and 7. In the scale of "C" Major these Numbers represent the 2nd, 3rd and 7th note in the scale. Play on a piano these notes ( D, G, B) and see how this pattern of Numbers sound.
